A wide variety of information is available online to help you plan for post-secondary studies. If you are at ease online and you want to do some exploring in advance of participating in a workshop or meeting a YOU CAN GO access worker, a few of the better known Web sites are:

A number of provincial governments have excellent Web sites with information on planning for post-secondary studies.

Post-secondary institutions all have their own Web sites, and some include planning resources for prospective students.

A number of banks also have Web sites with information for students.

Don’t get discouraged if you wade into these sites and it is overwhelming at first. There is a lot of information out there. Call your local YMCA’s YOU CAN GO access worker. It’s your best place to start.
